Happening in Fulton: District 6 Town Hall Focuses on MLK Drive Revitalization and Community Concerns

Vice Chair Khadijah Abdur-Rahman hosted a District 6 Town Hall to discuss problems affecting southwest Atlanta. Hear more from Atlanta City Council District 10 Councilwoman Andrea L. Boone. Members of the community were concerned with the city of Atlanta and the county working together to make Martin Luther King Jr. Drive the best Martin Luther King. So from this meeting will become a task force, a task force that will clean MLK Jr. Drive, possibly create an overlay and bring topnotch businesses to the citizens in Atlanta. Elected officials will work together and fight together to make sure that this happens.
