The home-delivered meals program provides a variety of nutritious meals that cover all dietary needs for free to eligible Fulton County Seniors who are 60-years-old and older.

Meals are provided through Open Hand Atlanta to seniors who are homebound, unable to shop for groceries or prepare meals for themselves. An over the phone assessment is done to determine the level of need and diet. The program provides eligible seniors with five meals per week. In 2018, Fulton County provided 1,262 meals to seniors.

In addition, seniors may also participate in an applied learning experience with students from Georgia State University. There is a waiting list for this service.
