Happening in Fulton: EmpowerHER Exhibition Opens at Emma Darnell Aviation Museum
Fulton County Arts & Culture hosted the grand opening of the EmpowerHER exhibition at the Emma Darnell Aviation Center. Hear more from Public Arts Manager Tisha Smith. We are not only showcasing 2D and 3D art, We are catering to all genres, all disciplines. We have dancers, we have filmmakers, we have poets, we have vocalists, we have musicians. This exhibition is celebrating women totally in the arts, and we're totally excited about it. It's the only exhibition in Georgia of its kind. Close to 200 women are participating in this exhibition. Well this year we spread it out a little bit. We're beyond the Emma Darnell Aviation Museum and Conference Center. We're at 141 Pryor St, the government building. And we partnered with Central Library to break two residencies and two featured artists.
